Are you craving for something sweet? Something cinnamon? Here is a super quick recipe of cinnamon rolls that will do justice to your cravings. We can vouch that when taking out your baking dish from the oven, the sweet scent of cinnamon will drive you crazy and tempt you to dig right away! This is the best recipe for you even if you have no prior experience in baking. Just stick to the procedure and you will be good to go.

Know your ingredients:

Cinnamon dough

All-purpose flour – Measure 2¾ cups to give your batter texture

Sugar – Add ¼ cups for your sweet tooth cravings

Butter – Use 2 tablespoon to add moisture and richness of flavor

Egg(s) – One-medium sized egg to bind all ingredients together

Vanilla extract – Add ¾ teaspoon for flavor development

Almond extract – ¼ teaspoon of it will add warmth and depth to your filling

Vanilla Glaze

Confectioners’ Sugar – Measure 1 ½ cup (leveled)

Butter – Use melted ¼ cup (½ stick) for a creamier taste

Vanilla Extract – 1 teaspoon

Milk – 2 to 3 tablespoon to get desired consistency

Recipe Directions:

The trick for the best quality results is to carefully follow the directions laid out for you in detail. There is nothing to be nervous about! By following this recipe nothing can stop you from enjoying the perfect tender texture of the cinnamon dough and creamy filling in the end.

Step 1: Dry ingredients first!
Combine all the dry ingredients: flour, yeast, and salt in a large mixing bowl.

Step 2: Mix the dough
Now add mentioned quantities of sugar, butter, water, and milk in a microwave-friendly bowl. Put the bowl in the microwave oven and allow the butter to melt completely. Setting your microwave on high heat and timer to minute 30 seconds will be enough. Slowly pour milk into the flour mixture and whisk. Once you feel that milk and flour are well combined add one egg and continue to blend using a hand blender. Egg is added for the bondage of dough; keep blending until it reaches a dough-like consistency. At this point you can use dough hooks on your hand blender to knead the dough. Step 3: Prepare your oven
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Cover the dough with plastic wrap. Let it rest at room temperature for 5 minutes.

Step 5: Prepare its filling
Start preparing the filling of your cinnamon rolls. Add all the filling ingredients in a bowl except for butter and mix it thoroughly.

Step 6: Roll, Roll, Roll the dough!
If you feel like having any sort of culinary talent; now is the time to put it to use. Lightly flour the surface before you roll out the dough. This will prevent it from deforming and sticking to the surface. With light hands roll the dough until it measures 16 x 9 inches of a rectangle. Take the butter and spread it all across the dough’s top and then spread roll filling on it. The next step will require your steady hands as you roll the dough and cut it into 12 equal-sized portions. A good trick is to first divide the roll into half and then further in quarters. You may use a dental floss to ease your task.

Step 7: Let it rise

Fill you’re a baking dish with boiling water and place it in the bottom-most rack of the oven just before you place them in the warm oven to rise until the rolls are done.
